Backstreet Boys to Justin Bieber: 'Keep your shirt on'

Perhaps it's an effort to combat their questionable relevance. It could be that they're feeling nostalgic about their own reign atop the teen pop wave with hits like "I Want It That Way" and "Everybody" that ruled the charts (and teenage girls' hearts) in the late 90's. Maybe it's just because they realize the power of association with the phenomenal force that is Justin Bieber.

Whatever the impetus, former teen pop idols Nick Carter and Howie Dorough of The Backstreet Boys poked fun at themselves - and their music - in this funny video in which they offer advice to the teen heartthrob as part of VH1's "Save Justin Bieber" campaign. For the record, Nick is looking pretty hot. Here's hoping New Edition does the honors next week. In the mean time, Justin Bieber, take careful notes.
