Always grateful for his fans, Justin Bieber explained it’s his loyal followers who’ve made him famous and the star he is today.
The teen sensation started up on YouTube and doesn’t mind giving his fans the credit for keeping him on the top charts.
"They make me a trending topic on Twitter every day. It's pretty incredible. My fans have made me a trending topic every day. I don't think there's been a day in the past month that I haven't. So, it's pretty incredible,” Justin tells MTV.
While many stars including Miley Cyrus have said goodbye to the social networking site, Bieber says, "I love Twitter.”
The 16 year-old thinks tweeting is the best way to share his music and communicate with his fans when he can. "For sure I use it for being able to interact with my fans as well as promote stuff."
And how does he select the lucky few to retweet? "It just depends. It's kind of, like, it's random," he said. "It's not really anyone specifically. It's just kind of a random thing."
But it definitely shocks them. "They're like, 'I never thought you were gonna respond.' And I say, 'You thought wrong.' "
